The BEST jJeans EVER!

I am a tall woman (5'8"), and woman's jeans never fit right. However, I have worn men's Levi 501 button-fly for many years. They are the ONLY jeans that ALWAYS fit the same. They are long enough between crotch and waist, so you never feel uncomfortable. They look fantastic, but are as comfortable as your favorite jogging pants. No matter how tall or short you are, these are the best jeans you can buy; they last forever, and look and feel great from day one for years to come.

Ran a little big
I was so thrilled to find 560's available online. They are the only jeans my husband wants to wear and we haven't been able to find them in stores lately. He was down to a couple of old worn-out pairs. I bought 6 pairs, and he says they are looser than his old ones and he has to wear a belt with them even after I've washed and dried them on high heat. He's still happy to have them, though! They'll work.

Husband is happy!

My husband is happy and has a heart only for the Levi's 560. These jeans are comfort fit and were exactly what he was looking for. Nothing more to say - happy all the way around.

Excelent choice

If you want a good pair of jeans that will look good for an everyday work, but at the same time could be used at some semi formal reunion, these are for you. They will look great, feel great and, specially, last for a very long time. I've used Levi's for a long time and have never been disappointed

Great boot cuts

It is hard to find male, black, slim fit, boot cut jeans. Believe me I searched many places both on-line and local retail outlets. Finally I found these on Amazon and they were just right. Great fit, looks good, and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Too long even for boot cut.

We will take these to alterations but they were about 5 inches too long. Otherwise they are very nice.

good jeans but...

Good product, on time and as shown in Amazon. But...years ago, ordering the same # jean and the same size always brought the exact same fit and look. Lately, the same length, for instance, some times is a bit too long (can be fixed) or a bit too short (bad news). The price to be paid for savings by manufacturing offshore. Lets see if with the crisis we return to the memorable "MADE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA"

The pants are great but when ordered 30 jan it was stated they were in stock and would ship out in 3 business days. Well, they arrived yesterday 29 February 2008. Think they should not put in stock unless actually in stock.

Easy

This is an easy product to review. Basically, while I feel I'm still too young to wear my trousers up under my armpits, I'm equally too old now to wear them down around my thighs - and I'm not exaggerating there; I've seen these dudes with my own eyes. Also, I tried a pair of 501s this summer (apparently, they're all the rage) and they while they were nice and comfortable, they seemed to hug me in inappropriate places. I feel I could wear them but only if I was feeling particularly adventurous.

These jeans though, are just the ticket. They are nice and loose, smart-looking (they go with everything from tuck-in button down shirts to t-shirts to hoodies to sweaters) and I am able to look somewhat trendy with them worn around my hips without looking like I'm trying too hard to look cool, or like mutton dressed as lamb. They are also very resilient. I have three pairs now, including a pair I bought in 2002, one I got on vacation in the summer and the pair I bought here.

If any of this resonates with you, I recommend you pick up a pair or two with dispatch. I was in my local Levi's store a few weeks ago and was told they are going to be discontinued. I was shown the model that will be replacing them (the 7-something, I can't remember the exact number) and I tried on a pair. I didn't like them even half as much as I like these and that's when I decided to get an extra pair online. I cannot recommend them highly enough. These are a great pair of jeans.

These pants are very comfortable, possibly a little baggier in real-life, then in the image. If you wear tight pants, these aren't for you. I would suggest the closer fitting boot fit jeans, which I normally wear, but I'm pleased with these jeans given the quality, comfort, and look. It has a zipper as well, making those trips to the urinal more convenient!
